A new way to view your tabs
Vertical tabs moves your tabs to the side of your window, allowing you to see entire tab titles, easily manage tab groups, and free up vertical space. It’s the perfect setup if you typically have a lot of tabs open at once.
To move your tabs, right-click your tab strip and select Show tabs vertically.

To enter reading mode, right-click on the page and select Open in Reading Mode.
Tip: From the Reading mode settings , select Pin reading mode

Ask about tabs and more in your search
From the Chrome New Tab page, click the + menu in the search box to add context like open tabs, images, and files to your AI Mode search.
To add context to an AI Mode search in Chrome:
- Open the Chrome New Tab page
- Click on the AI Mode chip in the search box
- Click the + menu to add open tabs, images and files and type your query
View two pages in one tab
Split view puts two pages side-by-side in the same tab. This makes it easier to compare options, watch a video while taking notes, and more.
To open a split view, drag another tab to the left or right edge of your browser window. Or, right-click a link and select Open Link in Split View.
